Hospice of Martha's Vineyard

 provides quality hospice and bereavement services without charge to all who are facing serious illness, grief, and death. Personalized care is provided at home, the hospital or extended care facilities and meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families.

Houses of Grace

is a winter overnight shelter and meals program open to anyone who needs a place to stay. 

Opens 7pm every night during January, February and March, at three island churches:  St Andrew’s Church, Edgartown (Sun, Tues, Fri and Sat); The Federated Church (Mon and Thurs) and St Augustine’s Church, Vineyard Haven (Wed).

     Martha's Vineyard Cancer Support Group exists to help full time island residents who are dealing with cancer and need financial support with lodging, co-pays,prescriptions, transportation and other associated expenses.

assists senior citizens in maintaining their independence by providing transportation to 

medical appointments and other venues.

The Warming Center

is offered at the Good Shepherd Parish Center in Oak Bluffs for 2 hours per day, noon-2pm Monday through Friday. It provides hospitality, food, laundry, showers, transportation, cell phone  linkages, housing and health referrals for those in need, from October through April 30th.  Its programs will be expanding in 2017.
